We provide notary public services in accordance with the laws of the State of Iowa. Our services include, but are not limited to, general notarizations, acknowledgments, jurats, copy certifications, and other notarial acts permitted under Iowa law.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding agreements to use our services. By booking or requesting services, you confirm that you meet these requirements.
No Legal Advice
We are not attorneys licensed to practice law in Iowa, and we cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or answer legal questions. Any information provided on this website or during our services is for general purposes only and should not be considered legal advice. For legal questions, please consult a licensed attorney.
Fees and Payments
Fees for services will be disclosed prior to the appointment.
Payment is due at the time of service unless otherwise agreed.
Additional travel or after-hours fees may apply for mobile notary services.
Cancellations and Refunds
Appointments must be canceled at least [X hours] in advance.
Late cancellations or no-shows may result in a cancellation fee.
Refunds, if applicable, are at our sole discretion.
Client Responsibilities
Clients are responsible for:
Providing valid, government-issued photo identification.
Ensuring documents are complete (except for signatures) prior to notarization.
Understanding the type of notarial act requested.
Limitation of Liability
We will perform notarial acts in compliance with Iowa law and with reasonable care. However, we are not responsible for:
The legal sufficiency, accuracy, or content of the documents being notarized.
Losses, damages, or claims arising from the use of notarized documents.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific notarial service provided.
Privacy
We respect your privacy. Any personal information collected is used solely for scheduling, identification, and recordkeeping as required by law. We do not sell or share client information with third parties, except as required by law.
Website Use
By using our website, you agree not to misuse it or interfere with its operation. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any part of the website at any time.
Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Iowa. Any disputes will be handled in the state or federal courts located in [Your County], Iowa.
